Standard rollers for variator with size 18x14mm. The weight of the variator plays a major role in the scooter tuning. Basic rule: The lighter your rollers, the more revolutions it takes to push the rollers all the way through the centrifugal force. Heavier rollers need less speed to start this process. This means that if your scooter has lighter rollers, it needs higher RPM to start moving. With heavier rollers you will start moving at lower RPM. Each driver must find out which revolutions are suitable for him, this is done with samples of different weights. Our advice! By changing the variator rollers, each scooter can be adjusted exactly to its driving conditions. You should keep in mind that the more tuned the scooter, the more sensitive it is to changes in the weight of the variator rollers. Be careful not to experiment with too different weights on the rollers. Remember: the exact adjustment of the variator is really necessary so that you do not lose the power of the motor. Too light rollers force the engine unnecessarily, and with too heavy rollers you will not get any acceleration.
